"Greek Parliament Passes New Tax Increases"

Summary of the Article
The Greek parliament recently agreed on new taxes to pass. However these taxes were very unpopular from the viewpoint of average Greeks. It was aimed to increase the revenue along with Athens' compromises to other international creditors.
Thoughts, Emotions, and Observations about the Article
As I was reading this article, I could not help but to relate to it since all taxes in the United States have also recently just shot up as well. Due to an increase in these taxes, it is basically a "make it or break it" deal in some cases in the U.S. For example, $80 bucks deducted from a check may not seem much to the person who can pay their bills, but to those who are working those low wage jobs with little to no recognition for their work, those people may not be able to pay their bills for that month, which will most likely result in harsh consequences.
How This Relates to Politics
Due to the tax increases in Greece (or basically anywhere, really), the "middle class" is gradually beginning to disappear. Without the middle class, there will be either just "the wealthy" who go to the Hamptons for vacation each summer, and then there will be "the poor", who will have to struggle and make sacrifices each second to just get through the day. Plus, the economy is not at it's strongest point to provide low wage workers, a better and stable income. Resulting in ineffective governance, domination, and perhaps plutocracy!
